Where are the classes?
In the Observation Tower, (upstairs from Level 26), BNZ Tower, 125 Queen Street, Auckland.
What should I expect?
Check out the overview of each class for an idea of specific class content.
What do I do when I arrive?
Come a little early the first time, introduce yourself to the teacher, and complete the form to let the teacher know if you have any conditions or injuries.
Please check in every time. A class register will be available for you to check yourself in.
Please let the teacher know if your situation changes.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable close-fitting clothing. No shoes required, we practise in barefeet.
What should I bring?
Bring a small towel. Mats are available for your use. Longer term we recommend you bring your own mat.
Can I eat before the class?
Come to class before eating. We recommend that you don't eat at least an hour before class. Drink juice or eat a piece of fruit within the hour before practice if you are hungry.
What about water?
Try not to drink water during the class. This will maintain the internal heat of your body. Drink plenty of water before and after the class.
What if I'm not flexible?
Excellent. Flexibility, balance and strength will increase .. just come and begin to notice the effects!
Other Stuff
As a courtesy please turn off cell phones or pagers before class. We understand that there are times when you need to be available, just let the teacher know if this is the case.
Please be on time. If you arrive for a class and the previous class is still finishing, please be quiet.
